I grew up on a two acre patch of land outside of a village called Moravia, New York. I'm the son of a factory maintenance worker and a nurse aide.
A fair share of my youth was spent on athletic fields (particularly baseball diamonds), and although I had performed in some school plays it was always sport that took priority. Then I saw a production of A Raisin in the Sun at Syracuse Stage and wanted to be an actor.
I chose to study at Sarah Lawrence College and brought my guitar along with me. Through some friends, I learned to play traditional Irish music. I now reside in Brooklyn.
That was my life in a nutshell. This is my website.
